At the top of a hill in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, stands a 100-foot tall statue of Jesus. The iconic statue is called Christ the Redeemer and is world renown by Christians and non-Christians alike. Recently, multiple lightning strikes chipped the fingers and head of the statue. Now, workers are attempting to fix this statue of Jesus Christ… and it’ll make your palms sweat.

They say lightning never strikes twice in the same place…

Workers are diligently attempting to repair the iconic statue.

Believers below pray as the giant statue is getting repaired.

It’s unknown how long repairs will take, or how long workers will be suspended above the bustling city in Brazil. Either way, it’s unreal just how they go about repairing this statue when it needs it.
