If there’s one thing I know in life, it’s that gasoline is flammable.
We literally use the phrase “pouring gasoline on the fire,” to mean making something worse. At the gas station, that’s important to know, because even static electricity from sliding out of your car seat can start a fire. People even warn against using cell phones while at the pump because some theories say the devices can ignite vapors.
This woman pumping gas must have been asleep during every fire safety PSA…
It’s not clear if she meant to light the tank on fire or is simply messing around with a lighter. Either way, it is explosively stupid.
Fire + gasoline = bad! Up until today, we never thought we’d have to communicate that.
